Ryan's Favorite Russian Wins
Le Roi de Donuts has been talking up the big Russian (Karpets) for weeks and he came through big in the Tour de Swiss. Those poor Swiss podium girls look bummed to have to kiss his grizzled, 72-hr shadow cheeks. They would have prefered a clean shaven Chris Horner or perhaps Cadel Evans. Karpets will play second fiddle to Valverde in Le Grande Boucle however.

Gotta give it to Ryan; he was pointing at Karpets at a time when I was touting the GC possibilities of a man who would lose 10 minutes the following day. But my question is "will the the Ill Ballers give the russian the green light to ride ahead when Valverde loses 2 minutes to Levi in the ITT?"

What up Justin? Good to ride with y'all last week. Too bad we started with a 1 hr climb up a shadeless fire trail. I explored Skyline Park (Napa) on Friday and it has a similar brutal start, but a burly, twisty singletrack back down. That should be our next road trip if Donut King can make it happen.
