Icewood

Another cold (~20 deg F), clear day at the Wood. No snow in a week and none in the immediate future. February or March should bring the goods, but who knows? Too bad Deutch Marc moved from CO this year. He could have been ripping it up at the Summit all January.

Jack Bauer

Wow, they did not spend much time on Jack and the Chinese Mafia. Last season ends with him getting kidnapped in a boat and this season starts with him walking off the plane with a nappy beard and a Fresno mullet. Jack cleaned up his act with a nice antique sink and razor in an airport hanger, and 5 minutes later (don't ask questions), he looked like he stepped out of a Gap ad. Next thing we know, Jack is thrust into a Bush/Cheney wet dream where Muslim terrorists are bombing the US. Ironically our Presidente was getting grilled on 60 Minutes simultaneously. We will have to see where this season goes. After all it is Fox, the former workplace of Tony Snow.

Marc and Julie's New Home

I just got back from chilly South Lake Tahoe last night. Marc and I went to Kirkwood and the temperature was 1 deg F (without the wind). Once you accounted for the 30 mph icy winds it felt like a Green Bay Packer football game. The snow was great, but hard and frozen, so falling was not an option. Here is a shot of their awesome new home off Pioneer Trail in South Lake.

Happy New Year

Sorry for the long delay in posting. Catherine and I have been traveling, visiting friends and getting back into the grind of work. We have continued our leap into technology with a new digital camera. Here are some of the first shots...
