Looking Stylish

Every once in awhile we dress up like adults and hit the town. What was the occasion? Ryan and Connell's soire (i.e. their wedding). We enjoyed dressing up and their wedding rocked. Great food, friendly guest list and all you can drink beer. Sweet.

Countdown to France

We will be in Paris at this time next week. Oooh, la, la. After that, a week along the NW coast in Brittney, the land of King Arthur and good crepes and seafood. Better start working on my french.

Ale Jet

He is back. After a year of suffering under the pressure of the tifosi and Italian press, Alejandro Pettachi final won a big one in Stage 3 of the Giro. His expression across the finish line is more of a release of frustration than a cry of triumph. I am happy for him as he has had a long painful mend from his broken patella last year. Good job Alejandro and good luck in the rest of the Giro. Hopefully you don't drop out as the slopes go up and you get another chance in Milan.

BBQ at the Dunning-Williams

Good food and cold beer was served in sunny Oakland last Saturday. Between two running dogs and overhead police helicopters, a good time was had by all.

Royal Crown

Segolene Royal, France's next President. Maybe. Sarkozy has the lead and likely the silent majority will say "they love Royal" but will vote for Sarkozy. Kind of like will happen when Obama or Clinton get the nomination. I hope Royal wins. She is smart, sexy and a breath of fresh air in stagnant France.
